THE NEW DYNAUDIO EXCITE RANGE
The new Dynaudio Excite range combines real high-end sound quality with an elegant, slim-line design. The Excite models can be driven quite effortlessly by almost any amplifier due to their amp-friendly design and their significantly upgraded ultra-efficient driver technology.
New magnet-mounted front grilles add to the clean appearance while adjustable outrigger spike/damper feet allow the speakers to be perfectly leveled on any flooring surface. Four attractive finishes are available in the Excite models, allowing ideal integration into any room decor.
The X14 is the most compact Excite model but delivers a huge sound via its new long-throw mid/bass driver, which provides an unexpectedly deep and powerful bass response, while the coated soft dome tweeter and extremely rigid cabinet construction further contribute to the true high-end audio quality. The small distance between its drivers offers improved timing characteristics, while a linear 8 ohm impedance ensures that the X14 can be partnered with a wide variety of amplifiers.
The optional Dynaudio Stand 3X speaker stands are the ideal accessory to provide the X14 or X18 with an ideal foundation on floors, while the SF 1 speaker foot is an elegant solution for bookshelf or sideboard installations. The larger X34 model is a slim-line floor-standing loudspeaker that delivers even deeper, more powerful bass – even in larger rooms – due to its additional mid/bass driver and larger enclosure volume. A precise fine-tuning of the high-grade crossover network yields a perfect acoustical phase response, while its 8 ohm impedance makes the X34 equally amplifier-friendly.
The top model in the Excite range, the X44 floor stander, is a three-way design utilizing two even larger bass drivers and a dedicated mid-range driver. Its sound is characterized by an incredibly powerful bass response, a most natural midrange, and superior imaging, resolution and dynamics – even in larger rooms and at further listening distances.
The X24 Center and the new larger X28 Center complete the range while enabling a variety of Excite-based surround systems. While the advanced performance of its dual-woofer and centered tweeter array belies the compact dimensions, its 8 ohm impedance makes it perfectly suited for any A/V receiver and modern home theater system.
