Dynaudio celebrates its 40th birthday with an anniversary model – the Dynaudio Special Forty.
The Special Forty is equipped with the best components that Dynaudio has developed. A highlight is the new 28mm Esotar Forty tweeter, which is only used in the Special Forty, plus the 17W75 MSP mid woofer, which is in a class of its own. Since the Special Forty is a passive loudspeaker with 6 ohm impedance, only the finest crossover components and filters of the first order are used. The newly developed tweeter Forty allows use from 1000Hz, it has a strong neodymium drive and a coated dome, sounds incredibly detailed and resolving. The woofer is Dynaudio’s best developed 17cm chassis and with its magnesium silicate polymer membrane material and the one-piece membrane shape it easily plays into the midrange.
Dynaudio combines its entire know-how in the Special Forty and has thus created a loudspeaker that is unparalleled in its price range of € 3000. The speakers are available in high-gloss birch gray or birch red surfaces.
